Pina Calado

The Piña Colada is one of the most famous and popular cocktails around the world.


A little bite of history: The Piña Colada was invented in August 15, 1954 by Ramon Marrero Monchito, who was a bartender at the Hilton hotel in San Juan, in Puerto Rico. His goal was to restore all the flavors of his country in one glass.
After more than three months of tests, assays, and many unsuccessful mixtures, he stopped on the recipe for Piña Colada, who literally means “squeezed pineapple“.
In 1978 Puerto Rico declared the Piña Colada has national drink. Since then, the cocktail has been around the world.







Ingredients:


10 Oz. pineapple juice
5 Oz. coconut milk
3 Oz. dark rum
3 Oz. white rum
5 ice cubes



Preparetion:

In a blender, add all the ingredients, including the ice cubes and mix them. Then put the mixture in a glass, your cocktail is ready to be enjoyed!

Little trick: To increase the smoothness, add to the ingredients a tablespoon of cream.
